The Elon men and women’s golf team released their 2015 schedule on Thursday, Dec. 18.

The men’s team will partake in six tournaments during the spring season, while the women will be in five. Both squads will be entering into their first season as members of the Colonial Athletic Association.

The men will start the season off in a three-round tournament at the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate in Hilton Head, S.C. on Feb. 23 followed by the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate in Aiken, S.C. on March 9-10.

The Phoenix will finally leave the state of South Carolina and journey north for the Seahawk Intercollegiate hosted by the University of North Carolina at Wilmington on March 29-30.

Elon will see three events in the month of April starting off with the Gary Koch Invitational (April 6-7) in Gastonia, S.C. Next will be the Greenbrier Intercollegiate in White Sulfer Springs, WV (April 13-14) and finally the CAA Championship (April 24-26) in Southport, N.C.

The women’s golf team will look to build upon its two-team title performance of last year in its five-tournament slate.

The Phoenix will start their season on a Friday, Feb. 13-15 at the FCGU Invite in Esters, Fla.

The month of March will have three tournaments in store for Elon starting with the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Spring Classic in Kiawah Island, S.C. (March 1-3) followed by the MSU Ocala Spring Invitational (March 22-24) in Ocala, Fla.

The Phoenix will wrap up their March schedule with a trip to Stockbridge, Ga., for the John Kirk Panther Intercollegiate on March 29-31 before their inaugural trip to the CAA Championship (April 17-19) in Southport, N.C.
