A female student reported a man exposing himself to her around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18 near the intersection of O'Kelley and Haggard Avenues, according to an email sent by Smith Jackson, vice president for student life.
The student reported the incident to Elon Town Police. She said a male in his mid-30s to 40s driving a newer-model silver Nissan truck stopped to ask her a question. As the student approached, she said she saw the man exposing himself.
The suspect, described as having brown, short hair and a medium build, then drove away east on Haggard Avenue. The student said the truck had four doors and running boards.
Elon University Police and Elon Town Police have urged anyone with information to call 911.
