Still looking for a Valentine this year? Luckily, it's not too late to add an adorable, four-legged creature to your life.
This Valentine's Day, the Burlington Pet Adoption Center will host the "My Furry Valentine Pet Adoption Special."
Between Feb. 14 and Feb. 15, visitors will be able to adopt any cat for $25 and any dog for $35. These prices are discounted from the normal $60 and $80 fees.
The reduced adoption fee also includes spay and neuter, basic shots and a one-year rabies vaccination.
The Burlington Pet Adoption Center is located on 221 Stone Quarry Road in Haw River, N.C. Adoption hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, and you must be at least 21 years old to adopt.
