Due to the weather forecast, the Elon University athletic department has announced postponements of four events for Wednesday, February 12.
The scheduled softball home opener against the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has been cancelled and will be made up at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 27. The rescheduled game will still be played in Hunt Softball Park at BB&T Field.
Both the Phoenix women's tennis and men's tennis teams have cancelled their matches scheduled at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center against Campbell University. They will be made up, but a date has not been finalized.
The Elon men's basketball game scheduled for 7 p.m. at Furman University has been postponed. The Phoenix and Paladins will now meet at 7 p.m. Feb. 24 in Greenville, S.C.
