Apple Computer Inc. co-founder Steve Wozniak will be the keynote speaker for Elon's Fall Convocation.
"Fostering Creativity & Innovation in a Technical Environment," will take place on October 3 at 3:30 p.m. in Alumni Gym. Tickets are $12 or free with an Elon ID. They will be available starting September 12.
Wozniak co-founded Apple with the late Steve Jobs in 1976. "Woz" introduced the Apple II model which featured a central processing unit, keyboard, color graphics and a floppy disk drive.
President Reagan honored Wozniak with the National Medal of Technology for his work with Apple.
Wozniak is currently the Chief Scientist for Fusion-O, a Utah-based corporation that develops ioMemory solutions.
