The Elon Police Department today arrested two men connected with the recent armed robbery of an Elon University student on Trollinger Street near the Trollinger Apartment complex.
The Elon Police Department took into custody James Alexander “Junior” Long Booker, 21, and Cory
Ledon Wilson, 19. A third suspect in the robbery is a juvenile.
Booker has been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon. Wilson faces charges of possession of stolen property and obtaining property by false pretense.
After the robbing the student at gunpoint Feb. 1, the two allegedly used his stolen debit card at a nearby gas station.
According to the police department, the investigation is still ongoing, and anyone with information regarding the robbery is encouraged to contact the Elon Police Department.
