The office of Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) begins the school year without a permanent director, following the departure of Dan Faill in late June. Faill resigned his post as director to take a job with the University of California, Los Angeles Alumni Association. Jordan King, formerly FSL assistant director, was appointed Interim Director for the year, assuming all of Faill’s previous responsibilities.

Belk Library will receive a $5 million upgrade following a gift from two Elon University parents. The addition will consolidate the offices of academic advising, tutoring and disability services into one building. The expansion will be a two-story, 11,000-square-foot annex on the east side of the Carol Grotnes Belk library.
