Elon University’s improv troupe, Instant Laughter, had several performances Sept. 26 as part of the university’s Family Weekend. Eight Elon students were featured in the improv performance, with each one leading a game. The show lasted for one hour.
Elon women’s soccer took on Hofstra University on Sept. 27 at Rudd Field. The Phoenix were looking to remain undefeated at home following a 2-1 win against Stony Brook University on Sept. 24. Elon ended the game after a hard-fought second half with a 1-1 final score. Elon will continue Coastal Athletic Association conference play with a three-game stint on the road. The Phoenix next play at home Oct. 18 at 1 p.m.
