Elon University’s Student Union Board hosted a Late Night Elon event on new student Move-In Day, allowing the cohort to come together. This was the first time they were invited to be together since starting their journey as Elon students.
The event featured many activities, ranging from indoor mini golf to painting Elon “E’s.”
One of the attendees, freshman Logan Buckley, said it was a fun day and that he had been enjoying his time so far.
Buckley said that the move in process was easy, which surprised him.
“I’m meeting new people, I’m doing a bunch of extracurriculars, I’m eating good food and I’m having a lot of fun,” Buckley said.
Freshman Charlie Kustner, another attendee, said his favorite part of the 2026 Move-In Day was meeting new people.
“Meeting new faces. Everyone’s super nice, I love it,” Kustner said.
Kustner said he would not have chosen Elon if it wasn’t for the community.
Elon University’s New Student Orientation continues through Monday, Aug. 22, with fall semester courses beginning Tuesday, Aug. 23.
