The Alamance-Burlington School System announced Feb. 1 that all facilities and schools will be closed Feb. 2, and that students and staff will participate in a Remote Learning Day. The decision comes after a winter storm that swept across North Carolina on Jan. 31.
According to the Remote Learning Day guide, Remote Learning Days are school days where students work asynchronously and at their own pace. This is the fourth remote learning day in the last month.
ABSS also announced that the Rezoning Community Session at Southeast Alamance High School has been rescheduled to 6 p.m. on Feb. 9.
