As of 7:55 p.m. on Feb. 20, all power has been restored on campus according to an E-Alert.
Elon University is experiencing a partial campus-wide power and Wi-Fi outage affecting the east side of campus including buildings near Danieley and East neighborhoods, as well as Crest.
According to Duke Energy, the outage was first reported at 3:15 p.m. Feb. 20, and power is expected to be restored by 10:30 p.m. The power outage has impacted heating and cooling systems — leading to lower temperatures inside given the outdoor winter conditions.
Duke Energy’s website reports that 346 customers are without power. According to Elon Facilities Management, Duke Energy is already on its way to campus.

Dooley also said in a follow-up email that the Moseley Center will remain open until 1 a.m. for students who need a spot to study or charge devices, and Lakeside Dining Hall will be serving until 11:30 p.m.
