After starting the season 0-10 against Division I opponents, the Elon University men's basketball team has a difficult road matchup in Bloomington on Tuesday against Indiana, who is currently ranked No. 18 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll.

Indiana comes into this game 8-3 after falling to Kansas in its last game. The Phoenix come in off a loss against Valparaiso. Indiana will be without its starting point guard Xavier Johnson who is averaging nearly 10 points and five assists per game.

Elon has relied on sophomore forward Sam Sherry to score inside early this season. Sherry is currently averaging over 15 points in Elon’s past six games coming into this matchup, though he will have his hands full going up against Indiana senior Trayce Jackson-Davis, who is currently averaging over 16 points and eight rebounds per game.

The game at Assembly Hall is set for 7 p.m. as Elon will look to win its first Division I game of the season. Indiana will look to bounce back after its previous loss.
