The town of Elon Police announced the department will have a new officer position open aligned with the 30x30 initiative — advancing nationwide experiences and representation of women in policing agencies — Oct. 18.
“We are a community-oriented and drive agency that values itself on a team atmosphere and positive work culture,” the post said.
The position will be ready to be filled Jan. 1, 2023, according to the department’s Facebook.
