The 2023 Princeton Review college guide ranked Elon University No. 4 in “best-run” colleges”, No. 6 in “best college theater,” No. 8 “most beautiful campus” and in six other categories.
In the 2021 guide, Elon led colleges in the nation as the Princeton Review’s “best-run college,” dropping three spots this year. Schools were not ranked in individual categories in the 2022 guide due to the pandemic.
The Princeton Review constructs annual lists based on a survey of more than 160,000 college students and administrators. The survey includes 85 questions asking students to rate their own universities, allowing the review to be fueled by those who attend the places being ranked. Surveys were conducted in 2021-22 and/or in the previous two academic years.
This year’s edition of “The Best 388 Colleges,” announced Aug. 17, recognizes the top 25 of the country’s 3,000 four-year colleges and universities in 50 categories.
