Facilities at Elon University operate on a different schedule over the summer than during the academic year. Elon News Network has compiled a guide for those staying on or near campus this summer.

Summer Movie Series

The 2022 Summer Movie Series is open to the public and hosted by the President’s Office throughout June. Each movie is free, and snacks are provided. The doors to Turner Theater open 30 minutes before the show.

Abby Igoe, assistant director of multimedia projects for the School of Communications, is running the Summer Movie Series.

“It's really meant [to] provide something fun to do during the summer on campus,” Igoe said. “It's something that faculty and staff can do while they're here. A lot of the movies are during a lunch break time, so I thought it would be fun to take a longer lunch and enjoy a movie. Of course, if they are students on campus, they're always more than welcome.”
