The Burlington Police Department is investigating two shootings that have occurred in Alamance County in three days, according to June 6 and June 7 media releases. 

Officers responded to a call and found a 28-year-old man with gunshot wounds at Huffs gas station on Maple Avenue in Burlington Tuesday. According to the release, the man was transported to a local hospital for treatment, and police are actively searching for the suspect. 

The department is also actively investigating a shooting from earlier in the week. Around 1 a.m. Sunday, police responded to a call that two victims were shot inside Club Mamba on Corporation Parkway. One victim is in critical condition, and the investigation is ongoing.  

The Burlington Police Department told Elon News Network there was no additional information as of June 7 at 7:52 p.m.
