Almost a year after it shut down, Town Table may be reopening with a new name and a new look. According to Todd Leonard, an Elon senior who is putting together a video for the new establishment, it will be called "The Oak House."
Leonard said that it will likely serve craft beers, wines and other local foods. The goal, he said, is to create a new kind of hangout and gathering spot that Elon's campus currently lacks.
According to Leonard, the whole project is being headed by Phil Smith, Elon's Interim Director of Domestic Programs. Smith wasn't able to confirm any of the information, but he said that more news would be coming soon.
