This week my assigned story focused on an international career conference taking place next week. I was excited to write this story because I am personally interested in working abroad after I graduate, so this fit right into my goals.
When I began interviewing the students, I asked them about their international experiences, which would usually cause us to go off topic and spend a good ten minutes talking about our study abroad experiences. It was interesting for me to meet other students with very similar living plans as me.
The conference itself will be a good way for students to learn about how to begin looking for an international career and what it will be like. For students with internationally focused majors, or students who have been inspired to live in a foreign country after their study abroad experience will really benefit from attending this conference.
