Students from Elon University and visiting campuses left the three-day Ripple Conference after a weekend of interfaith discussion, speakers, and activities. The annual student-led Ripple Conference was sponsored by the Truitt Center for Religious and Spiritual Life and aimed to inspire interfaith students to create leaders within spiritual and religious work.

My Saturday morning begins at 6:30 a.m. All my tools, camera equipment and water bottles are already in a bag. The only thing I need to do is put on my lycra and take my bike out to the car. Media artist Katina Bitsicas visited Elon University Feb. 6 to showcase personal loss of a loved one through grief and growth titled ‘In Memoriam’ through video, photography and an Instagram account. The showcase memorialized her father who passed away from Mantle Cell Lymphoma during the COVID-19 pandemic.

When I first watched this film, I was horrified. For around half of it, I watched “Skinamarink” (2022) through my fingers and from behind my girlfriend’s shoulder for another quarter of it. The last 20 minutes of the film were excruciating. I practically begged for it to end as horrific images and sounds assaulted my senses.

The classical and jazz crossover artist Willis Delony performed at Elon University for the third time at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 2 in Whitley Auditorium. For many audience members, this was their first time seeing Delony perform.
