Med Deli reopens on March 2 in the location of former Acorn Coffee Shop in downtown Elon at 116 N. Williamson Ave. Owner Jamil Kadoura delayed opening the restaurant for roughly eight months due to a fire which damaged Med Deli's sister location in Chapel Hill.
Elon's Music Department held its annual Jazz Festival Concert on Saturday, Feb. 24. The festival, which ran from Thursday to Saturday, served as a way to build confidence and inspire students. Students from both Elon and 11 local high schools performed in the concert alongside guest artist, Kris Johnson. Sunrise on Nov. 13 reveals what is left of the Culp weaving mill in Graham, North Carolina, at 300 East Parker St. after a three-alarm fire ripped through the complex beginning during the evening on Nov. 12. Fire departments from Guilford, Alamance and Orange Counties responded. This comes a little more than a year after an October 2022 fire occured at the same complex.
