Following a pro-Palestine protest 15,000 large earlier in the day, and a theme of ‘For the People’ — attendees tore a “Stop arming Israel” flag away from other attendees just as President Joe Biden took the stage to close out night 1 of the Democratic National Convention.

Community gathers at vigil commemorating lynching victim Wyatt Outlaw

Members of the community and Alamance County Remembrance Coalition gathered outside of the Alamance County Courthouse on Feb. 22 to hold a vigil honoring the life of Wyatt Outlaw. Outlaw was lynched by a mob of White Brotherhood members outside the courthouse on Feb. 26, 1870.

Elon's SUB Game night, light turnout, big impact

Elon’s Student Union Board hosted one of its many events this semester offering a variety of games, snacks, drinks and music Feb. 21. Though the turnout was light with around two attendees, the organization aims to build an inclusive, light-hearted space on weekend nights, channeling a place to meet new people, says Tatiana Lorich.
