Former Elon University kicker Skyler Davis, who graduated in December 2022, has been given a camp invitation from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After going undrafted in the 2023 NFL Draft, Davis will have a chance to compete for a spot on the roster at rookie football development programs which are set to start May 15.

Over his five years with the Phoenix, Davis ranks first in total points scored with 340 and first in total field goals with 69. Davis holds the record for longest field goal made in Elon history at 53 yards, a record he set this past year. Of his eight 50-plus yard field goal attempts, Davis made seven which was the best field goal percentage from that distance in FCS history.

Elon News Network has requested an interview with Davis as well as head coach Tony Trisciani and is waiting for comment.
