With only 35 days remaining, Elon University seniors are one step closer to commencement: as of April 13, over 1,000 graduating seniors have requested commencement tickets for the May 19 undergraduate ceremonies, according to Associate Director of Cultural and Special Programs Patti Gibbons.
The ticket requesting app opened Wednesday April 12 at 9 a.m. and will remain open through April 17 at 11:59 p.m. for the remaining 441 graduates who have yet to request tickets.
Once requested, graduate candidates can pick up tickets May 1-5, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday May 6, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. To pick up tickets, students must show their Phoenix card, and tickets will not be mailed.
The 133rd Elon University Commencement will take place in the Schar Center on May 19, and will also be available via livestream.
