Fans will be able to watch the Elon football team in-person this fall. Elon University announced that the Phoenix will not leave North Carolina until October, but fans will be allowed inside the stadium for the fall 2021 season. The Phoenix are scheduled to kick off the season on Sept. 4 at home against Wofford.

Fans will enter Rhodes Stadium using a contactless, digital ticketing process, and there will be structured line spacing, sanitation stations and space on Phoenix Hill for people to watch the season’s five home games. While in the stadium, all guests are required to adhere to mask requirements based on their vaccination status. According to Elon Athletics, more information will be shared in the “weekly game day guidelines” during the fall.

Tickets for the fall season will go on sale June 21, and season ticket holders from 2019 will be able to hold their seats for the upcoming season.

The Family Weekend game is scheduled for Sept. 25 against William & Mary, and the Homecoming game scheduled for Nov. 6 will be against Villanova.

More information regarding the 2021 football season will be released over the next two weeks, according to Elon Athletics.
