This morning, Historic Neighborhood was bustling with the sound of suitcase wheels, greetings from peppy orientation leaders and eager freshmen.

According to the Historic Neighborhood office, 631 freshmen moved into the eight Historic buildings, including an updated Smith Hall. Amid the chaos of moving in and unpacking, many freshmen expressed their excitement for the year ahead.

“I thought I’d be a little more nervous than I am. But just being here right now, everything feels really comfortable,” said Cary Romig.
