\0x200BA former Elon University student who would have graduated with this year's senior class has died, according to an email from Chaplain Jan Fuller.
In the email, sent Sunday afternoon to the class of 2016, Fuller said the university has learned of Katerina Diaz's death.
Diaz spent a year at Elon before transferring because of medical issues, according to the email.
There will be a Gathering of Friends at 7 p.m. Sunday in the Sacred Space of the Numen Lumen Pavilion.
