Jack Minor is one of the many students on campus who are tired of the Chick-Fil-A controversy.

"Really it was a disappointment because it was embarrassing," said senior Jack Minor. "The whole thing blew out of proportion."

Minor is worried that the national coverage of the debate is giving Elon a bad reputation.

"As students here, this is all we have," said Minor. "When we leave here, we have the name of Elon. and the way that is being portrayed right now, is not good."

Minor says the debates caused even more tension on campus, while members of Spectrum, Elon's LGBTQ organization on campus, say it needed to happen.

"We like to act like our campus is really diverse, inclusive and everybody is okay with everything, but in reality it's not."

A Board of Trustees Committee is investigating Chick-Fil-A's presence on campus and meets for the first time in the next couple of weeks.
