1.     Mario Williams, DE - The dynamic pass rusher for the Texans is one of the top defensive ends in the NFL. The Texans want to keep him, but probably won’t use their franchise tag on him because they would have to pay him 22 million next year, too much for a cash strapped franchise.

Possible Destinations for Williams- Williams is likely to be sought after by most of the teams in the league, especially those who need a defensive end in a 4-3 scheme.

2.     Cliff Avril DE - The Lions defensive end has made a name with 19.5 sacks the past two years, including 11 this past season. At 26, Avril should be a hot commodity this offseason.

Possible Destinations for Avril - Avril does not want to be tagged by the Lions, so the chance of him returning is slim and any defense that could use a quality defensive end would be wise to pursue Cliff. Teams like the Patriots, Packers, Saints and others who need defensive line support will bid for Avril

3.     Jermichael Finley, TE - This playmaking tight end is the best potential free agent at his position. It would be a shock if the Packers allow this dynamic playmaker to hit the open market, as he has uncanny athleticism. If the Packers do make the unwise decision to let him go, teams with young quarterbacks like the Vikings could use a safety net tight end to boost the confidence of Christian Ponder.

Possible Destinations for Finley - As one of the most dangerous playmakers in the league, Finley could be paid handsomely. It’s doubtful the Packers would let Finley go, but if they do, look for plenty of teams to go after him. Teams in need of a dynamic tight end like the Vikings, Bears or Ravens would be sure to make a strong bid for Finley.

4.     Dwayne Bowe, WR - Bowe is without a doubt the Kansas City Chief’s No. 1 playmaker on the outside. There’s no doubt the Chief’s want to keep the explosive Bowe, but they won’t be able to if a bidding war ensues. Bowe is a physically intimidating presence in the middle of his prime who has the size and athleticism to be considered one of the top receivers in the game.

Possible Destinations for Bowe- If the Chiefs don’t use their franchise tag on Bowe, he will be coveted by teams in need of a playmaker on the outside. Bowe will be important because of his physical presence along with his incredible size and athleticism. Teams like the Rams, Browns, Jets and Seahawks will be in the market for a wide receiver who can take over a game.
