Elon junior guard Ali Ford and freshman forward Sam Coffer were honored by the Southern Conference's head coaches today.

Ford was named to the All-Conference Team for the third straight season. She currently ranks second in the SoCon in scoring with 14.6 points per game and has made the most three-pointers (85) in the league this season. Ford moved into third all-time in scoring for the Phoenix against Western Carolina University Feb. 27 and currently has 1,487 career points.

Coffer played in all 29 games for the Phoenix this season going into the tournament, starting 25 of them. She is averaging 6.1 points per game and 4.7 rebounds per game.

Davidson College junior forward Sophia Aleksandravicius was named both the Player of the Year and the Defensive Player of the Year, while Wildcats' head coach Michele Savage was named the Coach of the Year. Furman University freshman forward Brittany Hodges was chosen as the Freshman of the Year.
