Hit with a string of rain and thunderstorm over the past few days, Elon is now facing a power outage throughout most of campus.
According to Alamance Communications, falling trees hit power lines causing the power outage.
Duke power is on its way to fix the problem but Alamance Communications was unsure how long the power would be out.
The power outage has affected buildings on North Williamson Avenue and Haggard Avenue.
Elon sent out a message warning anyone on campus to use caution while traveling through campus.
The University sent out an email warning students to avoid East Lebanon and Antioch Avenue by the tunnel due to flooding.
