The “Collage” show has been part of the Elon University music theater program for the past 15 years, allowing students to express their love for popular Broadway hits and other dance-worthy songs. Dressed in all black, music theater majors will make compilations of musical numbers that range from Elvis Presley to “Footloose” and make them their own with the help of other students in the “Collage” program.

The results for the 2013 Sprite Films nationwide film competition are in and Elon University alum Dean Coots’ submission, titled “Break the Night,” won both the Green Ribbon Panel Award and Fan Favorite Award, making it the first double winner in the program's history, Sprite Films announced today.

The cast of Elon Tonight proved to Elon University how hard they’ve worked to stay on this campus during the last few years at their spring showcase May 10. Sponsored by the Student Union Board, the premiere offered free popcorn and beverages to its audience. This semester's installation of Elon’s only sketch comedy show was funny, creative and well put together.

Elonthon, Elon University’s 24-hour dance marathon, is returning April 12 for its eighth year and this time around it will be stronger than ever. During past years, the nonprofit event for Duke Children’s Hospital had about 1,000 students attend. This year, the total is more than 1,200.
