The Alert Carolina system at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill reported an armed and dangerous individual on or near campus Sept. 13 at 12:54 p.m.
WRAL reported that an incident occurred at the Alpine Bagel Cafe in the UNC student union.
According to the Daily Tar Heel, the university is advising students, faculty and staff to shelter indoors until further notice.
