Elon University men’s basketball team released their 2023-24 non-conference schedule Aug. 23. Head Coach Billy Taylor said that the team has already started preparing for what looks to be a competitive schedule.
"After a productive summer, we are eager to get back to work in preparation for this year's slate of non-conference games," Taylor said. "As always, we try to build a schedule that will adequately prepare us for CAA play and I think we've succeeded in doing that. What I love about the schedule is that we have six home contests and several regional road games which will give our Elon fanbase many opportunities to support us."
This is Taylor’s second season. The team finished with an 8-24 record in Taylor’s first season. The team brings in eight new players for this year.
The team’s first home exhibition will be on Oct. 31 against William Peace. Elon will play two Power Five opponents at Wake Forest onNov. 6 and at South Carolina on Dec. 22.
The full 2023-24 Coastal Athletic Association schedule will be released at a later date, including game times for the non-conference games.
