Numen Lumen: Senior Baccalaureate Reflection

May 16 | Alumni Gym | 7:45 p.m.

The program will include speeches from graduating seniors and Jeff Stein. Each graduate will recieve their sapling at this event.

Senior Celebration

May 17 | Rhodes Stadium | 6 to 9 p.m.

The event will include free food, a DJ, games, photos and a fireworks show. Graduates must register with the Office of Alumni Engagement.

Graduate Program Commencement

May 18 | Alumni Gym | 7:00 p.m.

The Master of Arts in Higher Education, Master of Education, Master of Arts in Interactive Media, Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Accounting and Master of Science in Business Analytics candidates will receive their diplomas during this ceremony.

Air Force and Army ROTC Commissioning

May 18 | Whitley Auditorium | 2 p.m.

Cadets will take their oath of office and be commissioned into the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army.

¡Celebremos!

May 18 | Lakeside Meeting Rooms | 1 to 3 p.m.

A stole ceremony dedicated to celebrating the efforts and successes of the Latinx/Hispanic graduates. Participants can register with the Center for Race, Ethnicity and Diversity Education.

School Receptions

Hosted by faculty from the Dr. Jo Watts Williams School of Education; Elon College, the College of Arts and Sciences; the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business and School of Communications.

Legacy Reception

May 18 | McKinnon Hall | 4 to 5:30 p.m.

Reception and pinning ceremony honoring legacy graduates in the Class of 2023 and their families. Legacy graduates have relatives who are Elon alumni. Participants can register with the Office of Alumni Engagement.

Donning of the Kente

May 18 | Alumni Gym | 6 to 9 p.m.

A cultural ceremony involving Kente cloth stoles imported from West Africa, celebrating the achievements of students who recognize their African roots. Participants can register with the Office of Alumni Engagement.

Dr. Jo Watts Williams School of Education and Elon College, the College of Arts & Sciences commencement ceremony

May 19 | 9 a.m. | Schar Center

Graduates should report to the practice facility beginning at 7:45 a.m. A briefing on ceremony procedures will be at 8:20 a.m.

Martha & Spencer Love School of Business and School of Communications commencement ceremony

May 19 | 2:30 p.m. | Schar Center

Graduates should report to the practice facility beginning at 1:15 p.m. A briefing on ceremony procedures will be at 1:50 p.m.


Parking information

Commencement guest parking will open at 7:30 a.m. Schar Center parking is only available to guests during the ceremony they are attending, and morning guests will be asked to leave before 12:30 p.m. for the afternoon ceremony.

Tickets

Participating graduates must ensure that tickets are in the possession of the guests who will attend the diploma ceremony in Schar Center by May 19.

Graduates are responsible for requesting, claiming and distributing tickets to guests who will use them on May 19.

Alternate Viewing

Guests without tickets to Schar Center ceremonies may watch in Global Commons. Tickets are not required for viewing in Global Commons. The ceremonies will also be available to livestream on personal devices at www.elon.edu/live.
