Elon University encourages all students to study abroad during their college years. While Elon sends off its students each semester, international students are welcomed onto Elon's campus.
Jessica Bozoky, a junior at the University of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia, chose Elon after visiting the school's website and communicating with the international student academic advisors. She also picked Elon over other American schools to study journalism at the School of Communications.
Although she will return to the Sunshine Coast in January, she plans to visit New York and Boston with some of her Elon friends to tour more of the U.S. before heading back for Australia's summer season.
