Sophomore guard Jack Isenbarger and freshman guard Austin Hamilton were both honored by the Men's Southern Conference Sports Media Assocation today.
Isenbarger was named to the All-Conference Second Team and Hamilton was selected to the All-Freshman Team.
This announcement comes one day after both players were recognized by the SoCon coaches. Isenbarger was named to the All-Conference Team and Hamilton was chosen to the All-Freshman Team by league coaches.
Davidson College junior forward Jake Cohen, Jr., was named the Malcolm U. Pitt Player of the Year and Wofford freshman guard Karl Cochran was selected as the Freshman of the Year. First-year and interim UNC-Greensboro head coach and former Elon assistant coach Wes Miller was named the Anton Foy Coach of the Year. See the full list of players honored here.
The Phoenix will play their first game in the Southern Conference Tournament Saturday March 3, facing the winner of Friday's game between the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and Georgia Southern University.
