Blues and ragtime guitarist Roy Book Binder performed in Whitley Auditorium Friday night in a performance sponsored by the Alamance County Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts’ American Masterpieces program. Binder infused his songs with humor and personal stories from a long career in blues music, which began in the mid-1960s. Binder is currently in the middle of a tour that will reach as far as the United Kingdom and will extend through November.
