Elon wins series opener against former SoCon foe the Citadel

On the road against Citadel, The Elon University baseball team had 18 hits in its dominating 12-3 victory over the Bulldogs at Riley Park on Friday, March 6. Four Elon starters had at least three hits with three starters contributing two RBIs to bring the Phoenix to 7-3 on the season.

Phoenix hold on for win at Hofstra

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. - The Elon women's basketball team took home a 64-58 win over Hofstra on Sunday afternoon, in its final game away of the regular season. The Phoenix jumped out to an early 16-2 lead, holding the Pride scoreless for a five-minute stretch.

Let us Breathe event encourages students to express themselves

McBride Gathering Space came to life on Tuesday, Feb. 6 when Elon students from various backgrounds came together for the event, Let Us Breathe. Let Us Breathe was a way for Elon students to express their own thoughts and experiences regarding social justice for the Black community through art, song and poetry.

Elon pulls out win over Northeastern in overtime thriller

It was a roller coaster of a game for the Elon Women's Basketball team, as it needed overtime to overcome a strong second half from Northeastern to escape Alumni Gym with a 80-77 win on Sunday afternoon. The two teams were tied at 68 points after regulation, but four points from Shay Burnett and two Zora Stephenson three-pointers put the Phoenix in the lead.

Second half effort not enough as Elon falls to James Madison

Poor shooting haunted the Elon Women's Basketball Team once again, as the league-leading James Madison Dukes overcame a second half run from the Phoenix to leave Alumni Gym with a 68-51 win on Thursday night. The Dukes currently sit atop the Colonial Athletic Association at 5-0 in conference play, while the Phoenix drop to 3-2 in CAA games. Elon's leading scorer, and only player to reach double digits was Shay Burnett with 10.
