Updated 5:00 p.m. The National Weather Service has cleared the Tornado Warning and extended the Tornado Watch until 8 p.m. for Alamance County. Up to a half inch of rain is expected.
The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for Guilford and Alamance counties until 3:45 p.m. Locations impacted include Burlington, Graham, Elon, Gibsonville, Haw River, Swepsonville, Alamance, Lake Burlington, Lake Cammack Park & Marina and Altamahaw-Ossipee.
Flights in Raleigh-Durham International airport (RDU) and Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO) are both experiencing delays.
