Making it to the NFL is the aspiration for a majority of college football players, including former Elon University quarterback Davis Cheek. Achieving that dream while playing for their hometown team is a privilege very few will ever experience.
Luke Johnson is a junior at Elon University, double majoring in Journalism and Cinema/Television Arts with a double minor in photography and psychology. At school he is involved with Elon News Network, the Society of Professional Journalists, and the National Press Photographers Association. His work has been published by USA Today, Elon News Network, Fayetteville Observer, Burlington Times-News, San Diego Magazine, San Diego Reader, and the San Diego Downtown News. He is a versatile photojournalist not scared away by any assignment, and is looking forward to anything that comes his way. He is excited for any opportunity to get better and is working on personal projects that help develop him into a more well-rounded photojournalist. When not in class or on assignment, Luke is often seen riding his longboard through campus or going on long drives exploring his surroundings.
