Med Deli reopens on March 2 in the location of former Acorn Coffee Shop in downtown Elon at 116 N. Williamson Ave. Owner Jamil Kadoura delayed opening the restaurant for roughly eight months due to a fire which damaged Med Deli's sister location in Chapel Hill.

Director of Jewish Life Betsy Polk introduces Holocaust survivor and 98-year-old Margot Lobree on Feb. 13 in Turner Theatre. Lobree spoke with the Elon community about how she survived the Holocaust as a child, having fled from Frankfurt, Germany at 13 years old through England's Kindertransports.
