Elon University sophomore Nicholas Conti was arrested and charged Thursday for a 'hit and run,' according to an Alamance County Police report.
According to the report, the incident occurred last Saturday, April 15, at Kangaroo gas station where a Toyota backed into a Ford before fleeing the scene. Police identified Conti as the fleeing vehicle driver. He was booked at Burlington Police Station.
The damage is estimated to be $1,500 for the Ford, and $1,200 for the Toyota, totaling the overall damage at $2,700.
