The Epsilon Chi Chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority and the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity took first place in their divisions at Elon University's 2017 Greek Week dance competition.

The event was sponsored by Fraternity and Sorority Life and was held Tuesday night in Alumni Gym.
The Epsilon Delta Chapter of Delta Delta Delta Sorority and the Theta Chi Chapter of Simga Chi Fraternity both won second. Third place winners were the Kappa Zeta Chapter of Sigma Kappa Sorority and the Delta Pi Chapter of Lamba Chi Alpha Fraternity.
Both first place winners will be awarded $1,000 for their respective philanthropies, the Arthritis Foundation and the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
Proceeds from ticket sales will go toward Elonthon, held Friday, April 7, and Relay for Life, held Friday, April 21. Both events support the fight against cancer through Duke Children's Hospital and the American Cancer Society.
