Hundreds of people and canines strolled the Burlington City Park Saturday for the some tail-wagging, paw shaking and camera licking fun.

"You could have a completely awful day and come home to your dog and everything is erased," said Katie Dukeshire, Co-Organizer of Woofstock.

It was a gathering of companionship and music. Sponsored by the Alamance County Humane Society, Woofstock united all breeds of dog lovers

"There are a lot of mutts, a lot of purebreds and there are puppies too," said Dick Simpson, Co-Organizer of Woofstock.

There were plenty of different breeds roaming and barking in the park.

"If you are sad they can sense that," said CEO of Pug Rescue NC Christina Hedrick. "They will cheer you up and they will give you a reason to put your feet on the floor everyday."

"They give me more love than I could ever give them," said Courtney Jenkins of Greyhound and Friends.

There was miniature golf and face painting for those not interested in a little puppy love. But for those who were, Woofstock was the place to be.
