The Elon University women’s lacrosse team finished it’s inaugural run in Rhodes Stadium unbeaten with an 18-7 win over Atlantic Sun Conference opponent Kennesaw State University April 13. This put the Phoenix at a 6-7 record on the season and 2-0 in conference play.

The Elon University women’s lacrosse team took a hard loss to reigning Big South champion High Point University today, March 30, falling to the Panthers 11-4. Elon’s strong defense effort wasn’t enough to hold off the Panthers attack and the offense couldn’t generate enough successful opportunities against the experienced Panthers defense.

The Elon University women’s lacrosse team got back on track March 19 with a win over Longwood University. The Phoenix capitalized on opportunities in front of the net and topped the Lancers, 15-4, with goals from seven different players. After two previous losses, the team was able to bounce back and perform with aggression and poise to get a win at home.

The Elon University women’s lacrosse team is back at Rhodes Stadium for a mid-week game on Wednesday, March 18 at 7 p.m. The Phoenix has faced a few setbacks recently that have made them hungry for the makeup match against Longwood University. After two back-to-back losses to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Campbell University, Elon is looking to get back on a winning streak this week as they take on the Lancers.

It was a cool, rainy day at Fetzer Field where the Elon University women’s lacrosse team suffered a 20-5 loss to No. 1 University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The Phoenix was unable to upset the top-ranked Tar Heels as it struggled to maintain the Tar Heel attack that held possession for most of the game.

The Elon University women’s lacrosse team opened up Atlantic Sun conference play with an exciting win over the University of Detroit Mercy Titans on Wednesday, March 5, in Rhodes Stadium. It was a battle up until the final seconds of the game, but the Phoenix prevailed, winning its first-ever conference game 9-8 and claiming its second straight win this season.
