Med Deli reopens on March 2 in the location of former Acorn Coffee Shop in downtown Elon at 116 N. Williamson Ave. Owner Jamil Kadoura delayed opening the restaurant for roughly eight months due to a fire which damaged Med Deli's sister location in Chapel Hill.

This was the opening ceremony of “Breakthrough,” a three-day, student-run LGBTQ+ arts festival at Elon University from Feb. 23 to 25.
