Elon University football players took to campus today, but instead of their usual plays and passes fans are used to, the players were holding signs and helping people register with Be The Match — a national marrow donor program. People who signed up today will join the national registry of donors, which could provide a match for someone who needs a blood transfusion.

The stands were packed to the brim at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center on Tuesday night. A raucous crowd created a great atmosphere, and in turn, the Phoenix rewarded the Elon faithful a strong outing. The Elon University men’s tennis team displayed a dominant performance en route to a 6-1 Senior Day victory over the University of North Carolina Greensboro Spartans.

HIGH POINT – The Elon University baseball team traveled to High Point Tuesday for a nationally televised, one game interconference meeting. Those watching ESPN+ saw Elon’s comeback heroics in the eighth and ninth innings, which propelled the Phoenix to a 7-3 victory.

I was standing in the middle of Global Commons, holding dozens of papers, when I broke down in tears at the sight of my phone. At that moment, an NBC news alert changed the trajectory of my life and informed me I could now afford to pursue my dreams.

The Office of Disabilities Resources welcomes a new face this week: Monica Isbell, formerly the disability services coordinator for Alamance Community College, will now serve at Elon University as the director of disabilities resources.
