According to an e-mail sent to Elon faculty and staff, Sarah Hinton, a longtime custodian in the Environmental Services department, has died. No details of her death were given.
A public viewing will be held from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday, May 22 at Sharpe Funeral Home in Burlington. Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until noon on Saturday, May 23 at Maple Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Chocowinity, N.C. A funeral service will follow the visitation.
