The 100-year-old building sits across the tracks next to the post office—it looks like a house, but it functions as an office building. It’s called the Faucette House, and it has been sold. The four tenants who run businesses inside the house have to move out by the beginning of October.

Billy D’s Fried Chicken still isn’t here. The new retail dining option set to replace Pei Wei Asian Kitchen in McEwen Food Hall was intended to open with the fall semester. Elon Dining has not announced an opening date, leaving Elon University students waiting for a new place to eat.

Alamance-Burlington School System social workers and families in need can come pick up school supplies and hygiene products before school starts next week. All of the items were donated through the sixth annual Classroom Collection Campaign hosted in conjunction with ABSS and the Alamance Chamber.

The surge will happen. It usually takes place about two weeks after the travel. So, while it was nice that our numbers are trending down now, they’re probably going to go up again later in April. Elon Athletics sent an anonymous survey to all athletes last week about diversity and inclusion in the school’s varsity athletics programs, according to Associate Director of Athletics Faith Shearer. Shearer also serves as the deputy Title IX coordinator and oversees diversity and inclusion efforts in Elon Athletics.
