Like many people our age, I suffer from a little thing called FOMO (otherwise known as the “Fear of Missing Out”). This fear is what drives me to sacrifice sleep to spend time with friends, binge-watch every show someone recommends to me on Netflix and attempt to check out handfuls of books every time I go the library — I want to experience it all.
Spending 14 days at sea has proven a lot less difficult than I’d initially imagined. In fact, the time is flying, and I can’t believe I’m already halfway done with my wellness challenge!
As many of you know, I’m currently studying abroad on Semester at Sea’s Fall 2014 voyage. We recently left Barcelona, Spain to head for Rio de Janeiro, Brazil — meaning we’ll be spending the next 14 consecutive days at sea.
